Switch Board Upgrades
Old ceramic fuses are not safe for modern electrical requirements. If your home has a ceramic fuse, or you’re planning to install new appliances and power points, you will need to upgrade your switchboard to ensure you’re protected. All Sight conducts switchboard upgrades to increase load capacity and meet current Australian Standards. A switchboard upgrade involves:
- Isolating power at the main switchboard
- Removing the old circuit protection devices
- Installing and reconnecting new circuit breakers and RCDs
- Inspecting the Main Earthed Neutral system to ensure the main conductor is still in good condition
- Conducting electrical tests to verify that there are or faults for underlying issues
